Effingham Deputies Identify Body Found In Wrecked Truck

Effingham County Sheriff's Deputies have identified the body of a woman discovered in a truck which appeared to have crashed into a ditch early Wednesday morning.

Effingham County Sheriff's Deputies have identified the body of a woman discovered in a truck which appeared to have crashed into a ditch early Wednesday morning. She was 34 year old Juli Ann – Stone Gnann of Springfield. Her body was found just before 7am Wednesday, August 12, when deputies were called to the intersection of Kieffer and Wilson Roads on a report of a motor vehicle accident. It appears that the truck caught fire. A dog was also recovered from the scene. The case is currently under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol, and the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office. The body has been sent to the GBI crime lab in Savannah for an autopsy.
