Tailgating at Georgia Southern football games is a fun tradition that unfortunately generates a lot of waste. For the fifth year, Keep Bulloch Beautiful will be hosting the Tailgate Recycling program at all GSU home football games at Paulson Stadium, starting with the season-opener on Saturday, September 5th.
KBB is looking for volunteers to help with this fun and great program. Volunteers will be asked to meet 4 hours prior to kickoff to prepare the tailgating area for recycling. Volunteers will set up recycling bins around the lot and pass out bags to tailgaters encouraging them to recycling all plastic bottles and aluminum cans. THE TAILGATE RECYCLING PROGRAM WILL NOT ACCEPT GLASS ..so please remind everyone to bring beverages in plastic bottles and aluminum cans!! Fifteen-thirty minutes prior to kickoff, we will breakdown the recycling bins and collect the recyclables ...then it is off to support the EAGLES!
