Savannah Police Seek Person of Interest in Shooting

SAVANNAH, GA (December 1, 2009): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) seeks Germain GRANT, 20, for questioning in conjunction with a shooting that occurred Friday morning.

Around 8:30 a.m. November 27, one man was shot in the 1100 block of east 54th St. during a home invasion involving two suspects.

The two suspects are described as black males, believed to be in their late teens to early twenties. No other description is available.

GRANT is wanted for questioning, he is known to frequent the area of Waters and 54th St. and Chatham City Apartments in Garden City.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is encouraged to contact Violent Crimes Detectives at 651-6728. Witnesses may also contact Crime Stoppers at 912-234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637) and in the body type “CStop2020” plus the tip. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash award.
