Tornado Warning Issued For Parts of Chatham, Effingham and Jasper Counties

Warning Remains Until 2:15 p.m.

A tornado warning has been issued until 2:15 p.m. for northwestern Chatham County, Southeastern Effingham County in Georgia and South Central Jasper County in South Carolina.
At 1:40 p.m. the National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado near Bloomingday moving northeast at 35 mph.
Some locations n the warning include Bloomingdale, Meldrim, Pooler, Meinhard, Monteith, Hardeeville and Purysburgh.
Take precautions now.
