Santa's Traveling Workshop stopped by Fort Stewart today.
Santa and his elves are traveling across the country ...making stops at military bases to visit with soldiers injured in combat. Today they spent time with some soldiers from the Third Infantry Division’s Wounded Warrior Battalion.
Santa handed out presents and spread some Christmas cheer.
“Well I don't think we can ever say thank you enough to the men and women who keep us safe and allow us to enjoy the freedom and liberties that we and our families do in this country. So I think they are truly America's heroes,” explains the chairman of Santa’s Traveling Workshop Richard Rovsek.
Gifts were also given out to soldiers and their families; compliments of Governors throughout the country, professional sport teams and members of the U.S. Senate.
