Jennifer and Paul Budrawich
EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. -- The family of Jennifer and Paul Budrawich is asking for the public's help with funeral expenses, because they say the family did not have insurance.
Jennifer and Paul Budrawich of Springfield went missing Saturday night as they were on their way to visit Jennifer's children in north Georgia.
Dawson County officials found Jennifer Budrawich's body Sunday in the Amicalola River. Authorities also found her husband's body in the river Monday morning.
A fund to help with funeral expenses has been set up at the Citizens Bank of Effingham, 600 South Columbia Avenue in Rincon, 912-826-0826. Donations should be made out to Deborah A. Harris, and in the memo field write "memorial fund".
Jesse James Kilgore, 40, and his nephew Benjamin Kelly Mullinax, 27, are both facing charges of murder and evidence tampering. Authorities said Kilgore is Jennifer Budrawich's stepfather and also the father of one of her children. A judge ordered the two held without bond Monday.
