The Third Infantry Division Specialist who went AWOL close to four years ago has officially been charged.
You may remember when Specialist Clifford Cornell stopped by WSAV Studios before turning himself in.
Cornell fled to Canada in 2005 after his unit was informed they would be deploying to Iraq.
He is now charged with intent to avoid hazardous duty and shirk important service, specifically Operation Iraqi Freedom III.
