The pedestrian killed on highway 516 Saturday evening has still not been identified.
Making it more difficult, police say he was carrying various documentation with different identities when he stepped into the path of oncoming cars in the eastbound lanes near exit 5.
The man was hit by a white van and declared dead at the scene.
516 eastbound between highway 17 and Veteran's Parkway was shut down for hours while police investigated.
