OSHA slaps a local paper mill with a $22,000 fine.

Georgia Pacific's Savannah River mill sits on Fort Howard Road near Rincon.

The fine comes in response to the August 15th death of a worker at the site.

Ramon Cuya was killed when he fell off of a catwalk in the paper machine area.

Two of the violations are serious and one is a repeat violation.

Georgia Pacific has fifteen days to appeal the citations.
