Two Brunson men and one Hampton man were arrested on Jan. 7 in connection with a burglary which occurred at a game warden's home on 385 North Main Street in Brunson.

Joseph Michael Loadholt II, 19, of 1860 Mullingsford Road, Brunson, and Harrison Ginn Causey, 18, of 301 Cain Street, Hampton, were both charged with burglary first degree. A third suspect, Samuel Dwight Causey, 20, of 476 North Railroad Avenue, Brunson, was charged with accessory before the fact to a felony.

On the day of the burglary, responding officers met with Brunson Police Chief Luther Bellinger who informed the officers he noticed two white males coming out of the residence located on 385 North Main Street in Brunson with several long firearms. The two then proceeded to get into a dark colored vehicle traveling towards Highway 278, where Bellinger lost sight of the vehicle. Upon investigation, officers were able to locate the suspects who were then arrested.

All of the victim's stolen property was recovered and returned.
