MIAMI (AP) - Bacardi plans to commemorate the presidential inauguration of Barack Obama by draping the seven-story facade of its U.S. headquarters in downtown Miami with an American flag.
The spirits company will begin to raise the flag at 10 a.m. Friday. The ceremony is expected to be completed at approximately an hour later.
The flag will adorn the building until Feb. 4, the 147th anniversary of the founding of the original Bacardi company. Obama will be sworn in as the nation's first black president on Tuesday.
