Beach High's Chorus is on the road tonight. They gathered at the school after 8 tonight with their suitcases, warm jackets , hats, and mittens. The Chorus was invited to compete in an Inauguration Music Festival which celebrates our 44th President, Barrack Obama.
The students say they're grateful for an opportunity to perform in the city where history will be made. "I know we're going to do great. We're going to do our best, and we're going to make Beach High School proud, " says Brittany Graham. "I'm going to cherish it. I'm going to record every moment of it and keep it for my kids and grandkids to see," says Caleb Scott. Beach Chorus members will sing at a competition on Saturday and at a church on Sunday.
The educational experience will also include visiting historical landmarks in Washington.
