The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is searching for four suspects who attempted to break into a Seabrook home this afternoon.
At approximately 12:30 PM this afternoon, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Tierra Dr in Seabrook in reference to a reported attempted burglary that had occurred moments before.
Upon arrival, deputies met with the female homeowner who advised she had been at home, working on her computer when the lights suddenly went out. She then heard noises outside, and saw four unknown black male subjects attempting to make entry to her home through the front door. The homeowner yelled to the suspects not to enter, at which time the suspects fled the scene on foot.
A perimeter was established surrounding the area, and the Sheriff’s Office K-9 Tracking Team responded to search for the possible suspects, however, at this time, no suspects have been located.
No entry was made entry to the home, and the homeowner was unharmed during the incident.
Limited suspect description was available, and the Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to contact the Beaufort County Dispatch Center at 843-524-2777.
