Summer Dinner Theatre to Benefit Second Harvest Food Bank

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Here's your chance to enjoy a few laughs, a great show, good food, and help a local charity at the same time. Beginning July 30, Isle of Hope United Methodist Church will present "Something's Afoot"- a spoof of Agatha Christie's play, "Ten Little Indians". All proceeds from the production will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Coastal Georgia.

The bi-annual Summer Dinner Theatre presents Broadway Musicals over two weeks in late summer.

The production is a part of Arts on the Island of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church, a self-supporting arts outreach ministry that promotes missions and/or spiritual growth.

Gifts to missions have been wide-ranging, from several hundred dollars to purchase CAT Bus passes for poor working families, to an $11,000 gift to support the Savannah District Transportable Housing Project.
