The 11th Annual Tybee Island Sea Kayak Races will be held this Saturday, June 6, 2009.
The money raised will benefit the Tybee Island Marine Science Center.
It all begins at A-J’s Dockside, 1315 Chatham Ave., Tybee Island, GA. The 6 ½ mile River Race begins 8:30 a.m. The Little Tybee Challenge begins 8:45 a.m. The Race Across the River follows, with major sponsors in kayak race competition across the river and back.
You can join in the fun as a racer or as a spectator from A-J’s, Tybee’s south beach, or your boat.
