A heartwarming story tonight.
A Savannah Woman called News Three asking for help... she wanted to thank some women who she say saved her life and it may surprise you where these ladies work.

Around noon on Wednesday Lakisha Furlock put her two girls in a shopping cart and walked into Sam’s Club on Montgomery Crossroads in Savannah...but not to shop... she needed help.
“I was about to black out.”
An asthmatic for close to 20 years, Lakisha says this was the worst attack ever.
“Let’s just say it’s very painful. You get no oxygen, feels like you chest is about to explode,” she explains.
With no medicine on hand, she headed for the hospital but got lost...which is how she ended up at Sam's Club and in the tender care of employees like Andrea Stillwagon.
“How are you doing?” Stillwagon asks Andrea as she wraps her arms around her.
“I'm better.”
“I was worried about you last night,”
It was at the Sam's Club Pharmacy that Andrea first noticed Lakisha.
“She could not catch her breath because I don't know if you know what asthma does but it closes your bronchial passages,” explains Andrea whose daughter also suffers from the condition.
Lakisha could barely speak. While Andrea and her daughter watched the girls, Lakisha says Pharmacy Technician Tonya and another employee saved her life.
“I just said I need help! I can’t breathe, I said, I have asthma and she gave me an inhaler.”
But of a desperate situation comes a true human bond.
“When I found out Lakisha was here alone, from Louisiana, with no family around it really touched me because I wouldn't want my daughter in the same situation,” explains Andrea.
These ladies didn't expect thank yous.......like a lot of heroes they say they did what anyone would do.
“Without it, I wouldn't have been able to even make it,” says a now smiling Lakisha.
