»  Comments | Post a Comment

Hazardous heat…hot and humid conditions are expected again Friday through Sunday with heat indices in excess of 105 degrees are possible. Additional heat advisories could eventually be required, especially Friday and Saturday.

If you're heading out into the conditions for yard work, to enjoy the beach or for work, there are several bits of advice you need to keep in mind.

"Stay hydrated. Don't get too much sun. Wear your sunblock. If you're going to consume alcoholic beverages, do it in fair amounts of quantities and replenish the water," says Captain Michael Taylor of Tybee Island Ocean Rescue.
