Authorities in Colleton County are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead Tuesday night.
The Colleton County Sheriff's Office says they received a call around 11:20 p.m. about a shooting at 1530 Hampton Street in Walterboro.
Deputies say family members told them gunshots came through a bedroom window, hitting Adela Chanel Pinckney, 39. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made in the case.
