St. Patrick's Day festivities are officially underway. It all started Friday afternoon when the Grand Marshal of the St. Pat’s parade, Father Patrick O'Brien, poured the first bucket of green dye into the Forsyth Park fountain. Folks, young and old, came out to see the green spray, furthering this year's theme of family.
"Family is so important," O'Brien said. "If you don’t have the following three gifts, God, family and health, what do you really have?"
