Cecilia Koncul figures she owns a little piece of Lafayette Square. "We've been coming to this same spot for more than 50 years," she tells me.
Her family, which includes brothers and sisters and nieces and newphews and now grandchildren, stake out a prime, corner spot every year to watch the parade. "In recent years, this spot has been harder and harder to get," she says.
But for one more St. Patrick's Day, the family is all together and they have corn beef and beer. "What else could you ask for, I mean this is great," she says. "And don't say anything, but we're not exactly Irish."
