Do stiletto heels on guys make their
calves look fat?
That and a few other questions will be answered on Saturday at
the first Stiletto Stampede in Mount Pleasant.
It's a 100-yard dash in which the participants must wear 3-inch
high heels. And apparently, men as well as women plan to
participate.
The Charleston Post and Courier reports that at least three men
plan to strap on stilettos for the competition expected to attract
at least 125 runners.
The event is a fundraiser for the Medical University of South
Carolina. The winner gets $5,000 in cash, a $5,000 gift certificate
to a local store and a year of free pedicures at a local spa.
