PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. -- On Tuesday evening, several people lined the streets of Port Wentworth, doing some last minute campaigning for votes.
For incumbent Mayor Glenn Jones it seemed to have paid off, as the voters re-elected him for another term.
This was one of the more competitive races in the area, with some reports of mudslinging among the candidates.
Jones says after a hard-fought race, he's now focused on bringing the city back together.
