Toyota Recall Update

The "Los Angeles Times" is reporting this morning that over 1000 Toyota and Lexus owners have reported sudden, spontaneous acceleration of their vehicles.

The "Los Angeles Times" is reporting this morning that over 1000 Toyota and Lexus owners have reported sudden, spontaneous acceleration of their vehicles.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration had previously said that it had received reports of 100 such incidents, which include 17 crashes and five fatalities, but the "Times" is reporting they have found crashes which resulted in 19 fatalities.
Back in September, Toyota announced they were recalling 3.8 million vehicles in the U.S. due to an improper-fitting floormat which could possibly get stuck under the gas pedal.
