(Savannah) The Coastal Health District just received another batch of the H1N1 vaccine. It’s the injectable form to be divided among 8 counties. Health officials are expanding the priority groups…. Pregnant women, Health Care and Emergency Medical Personnel, Household Contacts and Caregivers for children younger than 6 months old and all people 6 months to 24 years of age. “We will continue to prioritize the targeted groups for vaccination based on the amount of vaccine we have available,” says Dr. Diane Weems, Chief Medical Officer for the Coastal Health District. Keep this is a limited supply.
