Mom Turns to Art to Honor Fallen Son

»  Comments | Post a Comment

There's truly no point of recovery from the grief that comes with losing a close friend or family member. But everyone finds their own way of coping; something that helps you make it through the day and get back some of the joy you once had. Suzy Shealy is doing just that. She lost her son Joseph in September of 2005. He died while serving our country in Baghdad. Besides his legacy of a love for family and his country, Joseph left something else behind: a flash drive with hundreds of pictures, which has turned into the tool that helps his mother make it to the next day.
