VALDOSTA, Ga. (AP) - Police say 10 people have been been shot,
one fatally in southern Georgia.
Valdosta police Capt. Bobbi McGraw says in a news release that
the shooting happened about 6 p.m. Sunday.
McGraw says nine wounded have been taken to area hospitals.
She says police have leads on one suspect and there might be
more. She says no motive has been established but that it may have
started after an argument among a large crowd at an apartment
complex.
Valdosta is close to the state line and about 70 miles northeast
of Tallahassee, Fla.
The Associated Press left several messages Sunday with a police
spokesman seeking further details.
