Though Thanksgiving is still more than a week away, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the 'Boro.
This week, donated holiday trees and wreathes decorate the Nessmith-Lane Continuing Education Building's atrium as Georgia Southern University presents its second annual Festival of Trees.
The decorated Christmas trees will be raffled to benefit local charities, Toys for Tots, and Christmas in the 'Boro/Bulloch. Last year's campaign raised more than $1,000 and provided assistance to 250 area families.
The festival hours are 1 to 6 p.m. during the week and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, when guests can enjoy a day of entertainment for all ages, the raffle drawing for the donated trees, local performers and even a visit from Old Saint Nick.
Admission is free.
Raffle Tickets: $1 each
