One local radio station is once again going to great heights to lend a hand to the community. Next Tuesday, E-93 radio personalities will climb atop of the roof of the Wesley Community Centers of Savannah for their annual food drive. Personalities will remain on the roof for 14 consecutive hours.
This is the ninth year for the annual fundraiser aimed at encouraging the community to donate canned food, clothes, and money to help families in need.
The fundraiser begins at 10 am, November 24, and runs through midnight at 1601 Drayton Street.
During last year's drive, more than $2,000 dollars in monetary and canned food donations were collected.
Wesley's mission is to promote the economic, educational, and spiritual growth of women, children, and youth.
