Mother Accused Of Aggravated Assault After Son Found With Stab Wounds

Metro Police are investigating a stabbing Tuesday night, that sent a mother to jail and her son to the hospital.

SAVANNAH, GA (November 18, 2009): Metro Police are investigating a stabbing Tuesday night, that sent a mother to jail and her son to the hospital. Just before 10:30 p.m. Metro Police were called to a home on Lynch St. on a report of a stabbing. Officers arriving at the home found Victoria Denise Lindsay and her juvenile son who had a stab wound to the back. Detectives and forensics investigators talked to Lindsay at the home and later, her 16 year-old son at the hospital. Police say stories from the two are conflicting and that officers have been dispatched to the home on several occasions. Lindsay was arrested, charged with Aggravated Assault and transported to CCDC, her son was transported to Memorial University Medical Center, treated and released.
