This year, the nation’s oldest, largest, and most widely recognized grassroots based civil rights organization- the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) marks a century of service. As the organization celebrates this milestone, Savannah’s local chapter prepares to honor people from our community for their contributions to the mission and principle objectives of the NAACP.
On Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. the Savannah Branch NAACP will host its annual Freedom Fund Awards Banquet.
