Two Suspect Arrested for SC Club Murder

Two suspects arrest for early morning murder at a club in Smoaks, SC.

Smoaks, SC - On November 28, 2009, at approximately 4:25 am, deputies responded to a call at a club named “The Spot” at 1074 Sizemore Road near Smoaks, SC in reference to a shooting.

Deputies arrived and found that one person had been shot and transported by private vehicle to Colleton Regional Hospital in Walterboro, SC where he was pronounced dead.

The victim was identified as Keno Delean Nixon, a 30 year old male, of Brandon Court, Walterboro, SC.

Two subjects have been arrested in the shooting/homicide and are incarcerated in the Colleton County Detention Center. 22 year old Timothy Sierra Kelly and 21 year old Antwan Demetric McMillian are both charged with murder.

Deputies and investigators with the Sheriff’s Office took them in custody this afternoon.

Both subjects have been arraigned and the 14th Judicial Solicitor’s Office will handle scheduling their bond hearings.

This incident is believed NOT to be related to the recent shootings in Walterboro, SC or gang related at this time.
