Police Investigate Two Shootings

Police were called to a shooting at the Live Oak Plantation Apartments off Waters Avenue just after 3:00 p.m. Thursday.

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Savannah-Chatham Metro Police were called to two separate shootings Thursday.

The first incident happened at the Live Oak Plantation Apartments off Waters Avenue just after 3:00 p.m. Police said one black male was shot but his injuries did not appear life-threatening.

A second shooting happened in the 1100 block of East 33rd Street just after 8:00 p.m. Investigators say a man riding a bike fired several shots, hitting the victim at least once.

Authorities said the victim's injuries are not life-threatening. The suspect is still at large.
