(Savannah)
Flu season is coming, and the Chatham County Health Department is making it easy to get a shot...early. The flu season typically doesn't start until October
1st. But a drive-through flu shot clinic will be held on September 18th...from 8 a-m until 5:30. It will happen at the National Guard armory on Eisenhower Drive. The shots cost 25 dollars. Medicaid and Medicare will be accepted. You're advised to get your seasonal flu vaccination early...so that you're ready for another shot once the H1N1 vaccine becomes available in mid-October. Flu shots will be given at the Health Department starting Monday, September 21st.
