Help Needed to Build Playground for the West Broad Street Y

Volunteers are needed to build a playground for the West Broad Street YMCA. The project is being sponsored by the City of Savannah, KaBoom, and Home Depot Foundation.

Here's your chance to help the West Broad Street YMCA and area children. Thanks to the City of Savannah, KaBOOM and the Home Depot Foundation are providing a brand new playground to the neighborhood located at the West Broad Street YMCA! Designed by the kids, the playground is valued at around $100,000. With your help, the project can be completed in one day!

The project takes place Tuesday, October 13 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the West Broad Street YMCA (1110 May Street). If you'd like to volunteer, call (912) 233-1951 or e-mail: wbsymca@gmail.com.
