Georgia has gotten a lot of rain in a very short time: Up to 20-inches over the last three days in the Atlanta area, and another round of storms is expected Tuesday.
Flood waters have killed at least six people and has prompted officials to evacuate several hundred people from the town of Trion, Georgia, where a levee protecting the town is in danger of failing due to the heavy rainfall.
The rising chattanooga river spilled into nearby neighborhoods as crews tried to shore up the levee. A georgia teen is reported to have gone missing after trying to swim the river, and in Tennessee a man went missing after swimming in an overflowing ditch on a $5 dare.
