In 1985, Trooper First Class Bruce Smalls lost his life while conducting a traffic stop along I-95 in Jasper County. Friday, September 25th, friends, family, and fellow law enforcement workers honored Trooper Smalls by unveiling a road sign that will stand near exit five in Hardeeville.
