UPDATE: GARDEN CITY, GA (April 22, 2010) An update the story of a three year-old girl stabbed with a knife in Garden City Wednesday.
Lorraine Bulloch bonded out of jail just after midnight following a telephone arraignment. Garden City Police say Bulloch was arguing with her brother when he came home with the wrong type of beer and threw a knife at him. He ducked, and the knife hit the 3 year-old girl instead. The child was taken to memorial. Police say though the knife did puncture her skull - she is expected to be okay.
GARDEN CITY, Ga. -- Police said a woman was in custody after an argument over the wrong type of beer led to a three year-old girl being stabbed with a knife.
Garden City Police said they were called to the home on Village Drive Wednesday evening. Authorities said Lorraine Bulloch started arguing with her brother when he came home with the wrong beer.
Police said Bulloch threw a knife at her brother, but the man ducked and the knife hit the 3 year-old girl.
The victim was taken to Memorial with what are described as serious injuries.
Bulloch was taken to the Chatham County jail. No word on the exact charges she will face.
