26-year-old Brandon Kent appeared in court Friday morning to face murder charges following a shooting and high speed chase Thursday in Savannah. Kent allegedly shot 26-year-old Thai Lam at a home in Berwick Plantation and was then chased by police on Highway 17.
Police say they apprehended Kent on King George Boulevard a short time after the shooting scene was discovered.
Kent did not enter a plea and will be back in court on September 16. Bond was denied by the judge.
