A drug operation conducted by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office Drug Suppression Unit netted three arrests along with a large amount of marijuana, crack cocaine, and a stolen vehicle recovered Friday afternoon.
Deputies conducted the operation on Magnolia Street in South Effingham County where they recovered over a pound and a half of marijuana, several marijuana plants, one ounce of crack cocaine, and a stolen vehicle reported stolen out of Richmond Hill.
Larry Blackman, 45, of Bloomingdale, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, manufacturing marijuana, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
Beauford Harrington, 43, of Savannah, was charged with criminal attempt to sell marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and theft by receiving stolen property (motor vehicle).
In addition, Samantha Fail, 25, of Guyton, was taken into custody at a residence on Central Avenue in Guyton and charged with unlawful possession of pseudoephedrine, and conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
Additional arrests area expected as this is an ongoing investigation.
All three remain in the Effingham County Jail.
