Firefighters this morning are investigating an early morning blaze on Savannah's eastside.
Emergency crews were called to the home in the 1000 block of 37th street around 6:20 Tuesday morning.
Savannah Fire says the blaze started in a back corner on the first level of the two-story home and rose to the attic. It took firefighters about an hour to get the fire under control.
The home was vacant at the time of the fire.
No word yet on a cause.
