Missing Effingham County Woman Returns Home

Effingham County Sheriff's Deputies say Mayra Armendariz, missing for more than a week, has now returned home.

RINCON, Ga. -- The Effingham County Sheriff's Office says 29 year old Mayra Armendariz, who had been missing for more than a week, has now returned home. Armendariz, had last been seen walking on Oglethorpe Road around 10:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6th. She lives in Rincon with her mother, who got worried when her daughter didn't come home after going for a walk. The Effingham County Sheriff's Office thanks those who assisted in the search.
