Savannah's Mayor Otis Johnson is excited about President Obama's upcoming visit.
The White House announcing yesterday the President will come to Savannah on March second.
The stop is part of Mr. Obama's Main Street Tour.
“We are drawing the attention of a lot of people nationally and internationally so I am sure his staff was out seeking good places for him and we turned up on the list. That is why I'm saying I'm very proud he choose us,” says Mayor Johnson.
The specifics of the President's agenda have not yet been released but he is expected to meet with small business owners and possibly hold a town hall style meeting.
