Traffic Alert Update: Bay Street and MLK Blvd

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police is advising drivers to avoid the area of Bay Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard due to a spill of kaolin on the roadway.

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Savannah-Chatham Metro Police is advising drivers to avoid the area of Bay Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard due to a spill of kaolin on the roadway.

Traffic is being re-routed. The area is not expected to be clear until around 7:30 p.m.
