»  Comments | Post a Comment

Twentieth century coiled baskets, djembes, jewelry, sweetgrass baskets- African inspired jewelry and art. In the early 20th century in the Old Fort (the eastside of Savannah) and Cuyler Brownville communities, African men sewed sweetgrass baskets. It's a tradition that goes back Africa.
