SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Police said a 15 year-old was killed in the first fatality of 2010 early Friday morning.
Savannah-Chatham Metro Police said a single vehicle hit a concrete wall around 2:15 a.m. on Wilmington Island Road.
Police identified the driver as Richard McAllaster, Jr. Authorities said he was driving west when he lost control and hit the wall. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
