What Civil War Living History Day
Civil War soldiers, from the 47th Georgia Infantry, will be demonstrating the loading and firing of Civil War muskets and cannon every hour. There will also be blacksmithing and cooking demonstrations.
Bring a picnic lunch and plan to spend the whole day enjoying the historical programs, walking the nature trails, fishing or boating.
A small admission is charged and pets are welcome on a 6-foot lease. The park is located in Richmond Hill Georgia at the end of Georgia Spur 144. For information call 727-2339.
