Some folks in Bryan County were definitely not happy to see all the rain over the weekend.
Their dirt road, which is filled with deep ruts on a dry day, became impassable by Sunday. They live on Redbird Lane near Pembroke.
"We are stranded back there," Debbie Redko tells News 3's JoAnn Merrigan.
One of her neighbors, Ida Rogers, says her husband recently had part of his leg amputated and workers from home health care have not been able to visit her home. "We've had it like this really most of the time since December because it had rained so much."
The women say they've been told it's private road and that Bryan County would fix it but that property owners would then need to pay a special assessment. Some folks, like Rogers, say they don't think they could afford that. More on News 3 On Your Side Monday at six.
