»  Comments | Post a Comment

Three more trees were planted at Warrior’s Walk today.
The trees are planted as living monuments for Third I.D. soldiers who have lost their lives in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
Remembered today... Private First Class Jaiciae Pauley, Sergeant Briand Williams, and Specialist Jonathon Sylvestre.
All three Soldiers were killed in Iraq.
“It means a lot to the unit to have somewhere to go besides just going to the grave and laying down flowers. It gives me a chance to come up here and actually have sometime with him and remember him,” says SSG Joseph Nicholas a friend of SGT Williams.
The addition of these three trees brings the total number of trees on Warrior’s Walk to four hundred twenty four.
