Suspicious Death Now Classified As Homicide

Metro Police have now classified the suspicious death of a young man found Tuesday morning as a homicide.

SAVANNAH, GA (March 3, 2010): Metro Police have now classified the suspicious death of a young man found Tuesday morning as a homicide. Just before 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, officers were alerted to a body that had been discovered by a utility worker. The body of 17 year old Christopher Johnson was found near the intersection of W Gwinnett St. and Boundary St. off of the road. Detectives and forensics responded and are investigating the death. Police aren't yet releasing information on how they believe Johnson died.
