(Savannah) Teens from nine counties including Chatham... aim to cut the number of tobacco deaths in Georgia. They will participate in workshops about empowerment and advocacy in their schools and parks. "We want it to be 100%...no tobacco at all meaning away from campus when you transport students to and from school no tobacco in vehicles, no tobacco products at school functions. Just a hundred percent total free tobacco," says Alesha Wright.
The Coastal and Southeast Health Districts have joined forces to conduct the summit. Workshops will be held at St. Pius Family Resource center all day Saturday, March 6th.
